> ASIT

The ASIT platform was developed at the request of the Users Group of major French Banks in order to allow them to connect to the SIT network (french Automated Clearing House dedicated to low value payment). ASIT provides the interface between banking centers which are senders and/or receivers of clearing operations and the network which handles the transport of these operations. ASIT allows management and monitoring of the information on the SIT network.

Main Functions

• Handling of operations, monitoring, assembly of remittances and their transmission on the SIT network
  
• Monitoring of exchanges through the processing of reports received from the SIT.Processing of faulty transactions and recycling of erroneous operations
  
• Reception of operations from other participant banks : monitoring of station mailboxes by transmission of purge commands, monitoring of remittance of return operations and conversion of operations to SIT format if necessary
  
• Counting of exchanges and adjustment with SIT on transmission and reception
  
• Archiving of operations sent and received
  
• Management of the restart of Outgoing/Incoming exchanges in the event of a failure of a sending/receiving installation
  
• Sending requests to the SIT and handling of replies (administrative dialogue between CBT and Station)
  
• Compliant with latest SIT formats (truncated Cheques and new card standards).
