> ENABLING SEPA…

BPEACH offering is a central bulking and routing platform to manage and monitor SEPA flow processing (Inbound/Outbound), through multiple Euro settlement systems. BPEACH allows :

• A concentration of all transactions on a unique platform that enables process sharing and costs saving,
• An automated selection of preferred exchange channel with regards to :
  • Time constraints: e.g. cut-offs,
  • Available liquidity, when necessary,
  • Reachability of the beneficiary from participant directories - STEP2 for EBA members, VOCA, STET,…
  • Lowering cost of services.

BPEACH comes up with both connectors and translators that enable Banks to access multiple CSM, together with capability for parallel run of both domestic and SEPA transactions when necessary. BPEACH enables lowering TCO and increasing the pay-back (fast ROI) as an evolving and modular tool to quickly adhere to a new regulatory project.

Common Functionnality

Fully Integrated within a payment factory, BPEACH components aim at sharing a central platform that performs all the common SEPA flow processing, whereas CSM’ specific features are separated in dedicated modules, such as reporting, format translation and CSM’ s access protocols.
BPEACH major functionality encompass with :

• Bulking/Debulking of outbound/inbound files,
• Management of PACS, “R” messages and files (EBA Step2),
• Transaction/file checks and control,
• Rule-based assignment of incoming transactions to upstream Back-offices,
• Rule-based routing mechanisms (selection of channel),
• Inbound / Outbound flow management,
• High level of STP to face the new SEPA pricing rules,
• Storage and Archiving features,
• Auditable database.

Translator

BPEACH enables a single point of entry with real-time messaging to a BPEACH SEPA adaptor which allows the conversion of proprietary formats from BO applications or other standard formats (e.g. SEPA like , FIN, XCT, Domestic ACH formats, …) towards SEPA compliant formats.

• Interfaced with your payment engines via Websphere MQ,
• Translation of proprietary and EBA XCT format towards SEPA EPC standard.

Connector with Specific Features

BPEACH platform has specific modules for each ACH, with follow-up of the exchanges through event report (status) from the various Pe-ACH., based on a standard kernel with specific Pe-ACH modules.

• Reporting in Internal format (from CSM standard i.e. EBA STEP2) when required,
• Management of various CSM protocols.

Integration

Based on a high-availability architecture, BPEACH is interfaced with the different communication modes of the Pe-ACHs, the SWIFT network or a proprietary network. BPEACH interfaces via FT or MQ towards :

• Various EAI,
• SAG,
• CSM’s proprietary protocol.

Technical

BPEACH is an open and flexible solution that copes with further technical and business constraints relating to new transaction types and Pe-ACH infrastructures. Running on IBM mainframe environment, coupled with Java based architecture, BPEACH technology is designed for handling large volumes. BPEACH demonstrates a non-intrusive architecture and a readiness for SOA compliance.
